Coach Eagle brings over 13 years of experience as both a wrestler and coach. He wrestled for six years, becoming a two-time WIAA State placer and captain of his NAIA college wrestling team. He has spent the past seven years coaching and developing wrestlers at the high school level.
Outside of wrestling, Coach Eagle is a Health Educator at Kentridge High School, bringing a strong background in fitness, health, and athlete development to his coaching.
His goal is simple: grow wrestling, develop confident and disciplined athletes, and create opportunities for more students to experience the sport and everything it has to offer.
Coach Crawford is the Head Boys Wrestling Coach and a PE/ASB teacher at Liberty High School. He has coached high school wrestling since 2015, with previous coaching experience at Eastlake High School and Inglewood Middle School before joining the Liberty wrestling program.
Coach Crawford competed collegiately for Western Washington University’s NCWA club wrestling program, where he was a two-time NCWA National Championships qualifier. He also holds a Master’s degree in Exercise Science, bringing a background in strength and conditioning, athletic development, and performance training to his coaching.
Coach Crawford is passionate about developing well-rounded wrestlers and expanding opportunities for athletes to train year-round, develop their freestyle and Greco-Roman skills, and reach their potential on and off the mat. He is excited to bring a wrestling club to the Renton Highlands community and train the next generation of champions.
Miguel Zeran, "Z", is a retired USMC Reconnaissance Marine. In addition to numerous deployments, he spent three years as an instructor at the Reconnaissance Training Company and another three years in South America training and assessing Chilean Naval Special Warfare Buzos Tacticos and Comandos.
Z is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS; NSCA) and a board-certified health coach (NBC-HWC) with a BS in Health & Wellness and an MS in Kinesiology. He is currently in the dissertation phase of doctoral studies in Human and Sport Performance. At his day job with Building The Elite, he helps train fearless men and women from around the world for specialized units and Special Forces selection courses.
As a coach, his primary focus is Long-term Athlete Development (LTAD), with a strong bias toward: holistic approaches that include proper, pain-free, authentic movement, breathing, and posture; mental frameworks needed for success in any challenging environment; strength and conditioning for life, not just for sport; and how to be a decent human through selfless service, leading by example, inclusion, fun, and unwavering support.
